Charles Reynolds

Charles graduated with a law degree from the University of Witwatersand South Africa in 1983 before commencing a career in trade finance, initially working for Anglo African Shipping, followed by Trade and Industry Acceptance Corporation and SA Bias Group.

In 1985 Charles relocated to the UK where he was involved in and formed trade finance companies. In 1990 he moved to Switzerland where he focused on creating and establishing a range of trade finance products. Charles has extensive international trade finance and client relationship experience, and oversees customer acquisition and marketing.

Clive Morris

A graduate of The London Business School, Clive has been instrumental in many business start-ups and successes. Clive was the founder and CEO of Powerhouse Communications plc in 1986, a telecoms company which he subsequently sold to a 3i-backed company in 2001.

On the sale of his business he engaged for six years in the co-funding of a number of Hollywood blockbuster movies, including “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “At World’s End”, “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “Shrek 3”.

Since 2009, Clive has been involved in helping numerous EIS companies in the entertainment business, notably working with artists of the calibre of Sting, The Vatican Choir and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and he successfully brought to the market Deal Partners Limited’s previous EIS share offers.

Clive oversees Investor Relations and Funding.

Richard Cochrane

After completing his bachelor’s degree and post graduate studies at the University of Natal Durban, Richard moved into the financial sector in which he has spent the last 19 years. He was initially involved in the project and structured finance sector, dealing extensively with large governmental organisations and funds. Richard has spent the last eight years focusing on the trade finance and commodity finance sectors.

Richard heads Trading and Accounts.


John De’Ath

John De’Ath joined Deal Partners in January 2015 and manages the Accounts, customer and supplier payments, invoicing and credit control.

John graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Economics.

After working for a Chartered Accountants, he joined a small Trading firm dealing in Metals and oil operating on behalf of their Turkish Parent company. His role was a mix of Accounting, Treasury, Operations and Derivatives.

He joined Glencore in 1994 working in various Accounting, Product Control and Risk roles with their Oil Trading division. In 2006, he joined BP Oil working in their International Supply and Trading Division, during which he had various Trade and Product Control roles. He successfully created the control processes for the cross-bench processing book.

Rachel Danbury

Rachel runs the daily customer liaison and trading for the business. A graduate from UCL, her keen eye keeps the customer controls and processes in check. She liaises with our customers and works closely with Richard, Charles and John. This management position is key in ensuring all trades comply with our processes and that each trade is manufactured and delivered on time.

Hilton Wade

Hilton joined Deal Partners on the 1st September 2015 as a Business Development Manager working closely with Charles.

He has a 25 year track record in global marketing and brand building with a strong emphasis on Sales Management and Business Development. Experienced in global procurement Hilton brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Hilton holds a Diploma in Marketing Management and graduated from the Durban School of Marketing. He worked for Unilever and a number of well-known brands. He has successfully opened accounts with Costco, the NHS and Wal-Mart.
